Serramezzana

Serramezzana is located approximately 520 m, in a hilly area at about ten km from Cilento coast.
The village is part of the mountain community Alento-Montestella and the Cilento National Park. Serramezzana is the least populated municipalities in Campania.


Fractions of Serramezzana are Capograssi and San Teodoro Cilento; both are on the road from Agnone Cilento to Serramezzana.

 

     

 

To visit Palazzo Materazzi (privately owned but open on request), which was built in 1694 and currently is in a good state of preservation and Water Mill St. Nicholas, in Capograssi, with 60 hectares of forest, mostly holm, in good vegetative state.


On 3 May to celebrate Serramezzana of St. Philip, patron of the country.
